Job summary

We are looking for passionate, hard-working individuals to join our production staff at Nidec Motor Corporation in Lexington, VA. Starting rates include Skilled Labor at $24.43 plus a sign-on bonus and Production starting rates at $20.78, with increases every 3 months and a top-out in 12 months.

Benefits begin day 1, including ~9% 401k contribution, a technical incentive, paid holidays and paid vacation. Shift schedules include 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm, 2nd shift 3:30pm-10:30pm with 35 hours and

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and write, follow written process instructions, and record critical process information

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs sequences of operations where the standard operational methods are available
• Makes general decisions as to setup sequences and correct responses when process monitoring indicates
• Prepares all gensets after testing
• Installs labels, door latches, silencers, etc
• Uses check sheets to audit gensets
• Checks paint appearances and ensures units are built to customers orders
• Requires painting of finished products and assists with packing of finished unit in cycle
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job
