Job summary

Nidec Corporation in Lexington, Tennessee is seeking skilled laborers for our production team to perform loading, unloading, and material movement tasks along with basic setup and housekeeping duties.

Shift options are available (First, Second, Third). Starting pay is $24.92 with a sign-on bonus; production rates start at $21.20 and will increase every 3 months, with a top-out in 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Ability to read and write, follow written process instructions, and record information as required.
• Work under immediate supervision; primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Secure leads on unit to protect from varnish.
• Use hoists and power lift trucks to move units.
• Use sanding equipment to remove excess varnish.
• Make general decisions as to setup sequences and process monitoring.
• Exercise good housekeeping in the work area.
• Observe good safety practices in performance of job.
• Perform daily/weekly TPM tasks and complete checksheets.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
