Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in VelociGene is seeking a Scientist in the Genotyping Group to process biopsy samples, perform DNA isolation with automated systems, and drive workflow priorities through genotyping methods.

You will operate qPCR prep on Hamilton and Beckman systems, analyze data, and report results via LIMS. Bachelor's or Master’s in biology with 3+ years’ experience and an interest in rodent genetics are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology or related biological sciences; minimum 3 years of experience.
• Interest and curiosity in rodent genetics; ability to multitask in a changing environment.
• Familiarity with automation to drive scientific progress; strong data quality focus.

Aufgaben

• Process biopsy samples for downstream extraction and genotyping analysis.
• Use high-throughput automation for DNA isolation from embryonic stem cells and rodent biopsies.
• Select and implement genotyping methods to set workflow priorities.
• Operate applications that create worklists for qPCR assay retrieval and bulk mix prep on Hamilton Liquid Handler.
• Coordinate multiple steps to begin aliquoting of qPCR master mixes.
• Set up complex qPCR reactions across Beckman i7 Liquid Handlers.
• Initiate qPCR using customized cycling platform.
• Collect and analyze raw data with custom analysis tools and report results via LIMS.
