Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or equivalent as defined by CFR 42CFR493.1405(b)(5)(i)(B).
ASCP certified or eligible (MLS/MB/CG) and certification within 3 years of hire.
Completes minimum of 12 hours CE annually.

Responsibilities

Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures with proper documentation.
Drafts patient reports by interpreting assay results and records processes accurately.
Performs Quality Control testing and participates in QA programs.
Reviews clinical and research case statuses with leaders.
Maintains safe work environment and adheres to regulations.
