Job summary

Fulgent Genetics is seeking a Molecular Lab Technician II in California to perform clinical sequencing services under SOP and QA guidelines. You will be a key contributor within a team focused on delivering accurate molecular test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in a clinical laboratory; hands-on molecular/genetics testing preferred.
• Strong work ethic and immaculate attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures following SOP/QA under supervision.
• Execute DNA/RNA extraction, Sanger sequencing, qPCR, RPPCR, MLPA, and NGS library prep.
• Assist with troubleshooting and identify issues impacting test results; escalate to supervisor.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and orderly workspace; assist with stock and supplies.
• Comply with safety, privacy, and HIPAA requirements; follow training.
