Job summary

Labcorp in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Intern to join our Genomics Team for a 11-week paid internship in 2027. The role involves hands-on testing, documentation, and collaboration across validation/development and production teams to understand genomics platforms used in clinical trial testing.

Minimum qualifications require working towards a bachelor’s degree in genomics, biology, chemistry, physics, or related lab science.

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in genomics, biology, chemistry, physics, lab science or a related major.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing to evaluate assay or instrument performance characteristics
• Prepare proper documentation of test results and present findings of research at end of assignment
• Familiarize yourself with each of the different genomics platforms within the department and their relationship to clinical trial testing
• Engage with both validation/development and production teams to enhance understanding of the scope and scale of testing
