Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited seeks a PhD- or Master-level data scientist in the United States (Missouri) to optimize DNA genotyping workflows and build analytics-driven product pipelines. You will collaborate with scientists, IT, and engineering to deliver insights and recommendations, presenting validated stories to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing cross‑functional analytics, applying ML and OR techniques, and delivering actionable KPIs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, ML, Statistics, Genomics, or related field.
• Proficiency in building data models with R, Python, or similar.
• Strong predictive modeling and ML understanding; ability to communicate results.

Responsibilities

• Maximize use of genomics data for high-throughput genotyping/production workflows.
• Perform bioinformatic analysis, programming, and experimental design.
• Maintain bioinformatic pipelines and databases for mining large genomic data.
