Bayer is seeking a Post-Transcriptional Gene Expression Co-Op in the United States (Missouri). The role focuses on bioinformatic analysis of functional genomics data and collaboration with scientists to study post-transcriptional gene expression regulation in Plant Biotechnology.

You will document plans, results, and analyses, prepare reports for stakeholders, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with the broader team.

Qualifications

Pursuing MS/PhD in biology or related field in the US.
Experience with gene expression data and large datasets.
Familiarity with cloud computing.
Ability to design and analyze experiments and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

Perform bioinformatic analysis of functional genomics datasets.
Collaborate to execute and interpret molecular biology experiments focusing on gene expression regulation.
Document research plans, methods, results, and data analyses.
Prepare and communicate reports and summaries to stakeholders and across the department.
Follow established operational standards including safety protocols and compliance policies.
Prioritize and coordinate work within a larger team and across functional groups.
