Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD student or equivalent with focus in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or (Bio)Statistics
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or (Bio)Statistics
• Proficient communication and ability to interact with internal customers
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks
• Interest in ML applications and programming in Python or R

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and document software and methods to improve data analytics workflows.
• Apply ML and advanced statistics for process understanding, monitoring, and optimization.
• Develop data analysis applications for mining, preprocessing, and visualization of data.
• Code in Python and R across multiple projects.
• Support mining of process data from IT systems and databases.
• Evaluate and apply various ML and statistics methods.
• Collaborate with data scientists on bioprocess monitoring and improvement projects.
• Document project outcomes in concise technical reports.
