Englewood Health seeks a Genitourinary Oncology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join HOPE in Bergen County, NJ. The APN will deliver comprehensive patient-centered care across malignancies, performing assessments, planning treatment, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Professional Nurse License required
• Nurse Practitioner License / Board Certification required
• ONS Chemo/Bio Certification within 3 months of hire
• Master’s Degree in Nursing required
• Current CDS & DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical oncology experience
• GU oncology experience a plus
• Experience with clinical research and quality improvement preferred
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for oncology patients
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Follow NCCN guidelines in care planning
• Prescribe medications and therapies per state policy
• Manage patients on active chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy
• Conduct follow-up evaluations and monitor response to treatment
• Provide longitudinal supportive care and survivorship education
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, options, and side effects
• Collaborate with PCPs, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary care, quality improvement and research
