Englewood Hospital invites a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to support three oncology floors. The role covers 8:00A–4:00P, Mon-Fri, with no night shifts or on-call. You will diagnose and manage care, order tests, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License
Current Nurse Practitioner License with Board Certification
ONS Chemo/Bio Certification within 3 months of hire
Master's Degree in Nursing required
Current CDS & DEA required
BLS and ACLS required
3-5 years clinical experience in hematology/oncology preferred
Leadership/teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prioritize patient care needs and clinical assessment.
Perform interventions and treatments with evidence-based practice.
Order, perform and interpret lab tests and imaging as per NCCN guidelines.
Prescribe drugs in accordance with state and federal law.
Provide preventive care and manage episodic and stable hematologic/oncologic problems.
Educate patients and families and develop programs/materials with the care team.
Complete patient care milestones and survivorship assessments as defined by NCCN.
