Job summary

The University of North Georgia in Gainesville is seeking an Access Control Coordinator to oversee Genetec access control for the Gainesville campus. You will maintain system accuracy, manage user access levels, and serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting of software and hardware.

You will lead Genetec initiatives, ensure audits are completed accurately and on time, and provide training and support to campus users while coordinating with facilities and public safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with access control systems preferred.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Willingness to be on-call during nights/weekends.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Genetec access control for the Gainesville Campus, on-call after hours.
• Manage user levels and assign access, including cardholders.
• Provide Genetec user training and support on access control.
• Support compliance audits and thorough record keeping.
• Assist with key distribution and campus access services.
