Job Title: Genesys Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ month contract (potential extension/contract-to-hire)

Pay Range: $50-65/hr. W2 (negotiable based on experience)

Summary:

Verigent's client is seeking a skilled and motivated Genesys Cloud Engineer to join their team to design, develop, and maintain contact center solutions using Genesys Cloud (CX). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud implementations and a strong background in telephony, cloud platforms, and integration with enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy contact center solutions using Genesys Cloud (PureCloud).
• Integrate Genesys Cloud with CRM systems, workforce management tools, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop routing strategies, IVR flows, and bots using Architect and other Genesys tools.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support end-users and administrators with technical guidance and training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, customer service, and business analysts to align technology solutions with business goals.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure platform security and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience with Genesys Cloud (PureCloud) implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of contact center technologies including SIP, IVR, ACD, and call routing.
• Proficiency with Genesys Cloud Architect, integrations (REST APIs), and scripting.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools, monitoring solutions, and log analysis.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
