Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Principal Engineer Data Automation with our client in the financial industry. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement automation workflows around security-related data
  2. Provide data automation services supporting a broad range of cybersecurity functions
  3. Analyze and understand security-related data, its structure, and its implications across cybersecurity initiatives
  4. Design and deliver long-term, innovative automation solutions that scale across business units
  5. Consult with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on automation strategies and technical solutions
  6. Leverage advanced analytics, creative problem-solving, and strategic vision to drive engineering initiatives
  7. Create, enhance, and maintain automation processes in a multi-platform environment (Linux and Windows)
  8. Apply strong fundamentals in server, networking, and security operations to inform automation solutions
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military, or education. Strong hands-on experience with ETL development using PySpark.
  • 4+ years of experience with automation development using Python
  • 4+ years of experience in data automation workflows and processes
  • 4+ years of experience working with Linux environments
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows systems
  • 4+ years of hands-on Python coding experience
  • 4+ years of experience with server and networking fundamentals
Pay Range:

$86,000 - $96,000

Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
