Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC seeks a qualified Winding Technician to perform repairs on generator components including fields, stators, and high voltage bushings. The role involves assembly, rewinding, and refurbishing various electrical generator parts in a fast-growing team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience, be able to travel 50% (including international), pass respiratory tests, and demonstrate strong hand‑eye coordination and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant repair work.
• Must be willing to travel at least 50%, including international trips.
• Able to pass a pulmonary function test and wear a respirator.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install retaining rings with induction heating.
• Remove, clean, and install field coils.
• Rewedge the Generator Stator and repair End Windings.
• Perform stator bar replacement and HV bushing tasks.
• Core iron repair/replacement and installation of 2-piece clips.
