Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking an experienced Winding Technician for the Repairs Division in the St. Louis area.

The role involves repairing generator components such as fields, stators, bushings, and excitation equipment, with extensive hands-on work in a shop and field environment. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, be willing to travel at least 50% (including internationally), pass a pulmonary function test, wear a respirator, and possess strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Apprenticeship classes or trade school.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install retaining rings with induction heating
• Remove, clean, and install field coils
• Rewedge the Generator Stator
• Repair the End Windings
• Stator bar replacement
• Clean, red-eye, and paint
• High Voltage Bushing and Standoff Bushing replacement
• Core Iron repair/replacement
• Installation of 2-piece clips
