MD&A in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Generator Specialist to lead field and shop teams performing inspection, repair, testing, rewinding, and maintenance of large rotating electrical equipment used in power generation.

This role offers significant travel opportunities across the United States and internationally. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in generator or rotating equipment repair, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in industrial facilities and power

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of generator/rotating equipment repair experience.
• Leadership and team-management ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel across the U.S. and internationally.
• Experience working in industrial facilities and power plants.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Proficient with standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead field and shop teams on generator repair projects.
• Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, rewinding and repair.
• Serve as primary customer interface during projects.
• Develop detailed technical reports after project completion.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and winders.
• Identify additional repair opportunities and support customer solutions.

About the Role:

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A), a leading provider of power generation repair and maintenance services, is looking for an experienced Generator Specialist to join our growing team in St. Louis, Missouri.

In this role, you will lead technical crews performing inspection, repair, testing, rewinding, and maintenance of large rotating electrical equipment used throughout the power generation industry.
