GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an engineer to design generator windings for hydro projects and provide technical support across regions. The role includes delivering design work packages and guiding insulation system choices throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least two years of hydro winding design experience. Travel and bilingual (French and English) abilities are preferred along with CAD proficiency.

Job Description Summary The worker will be responsible to support the design of generator windings for new and refurbishment hydro projects across different regions. He/she will also be responsible to provide technical support to design engineers, supply chain and site installation teams related to generator winding topics.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

• Deliver design work packages for generator windings using technical guidelines and reference projects
• Provide technical support to factories, supply chain and site teams on winding topics and insulation systems during the entire lifecycle of the projects.
• Lead cost reduction and improvement actions related to generator windings.
• Participate to validation of winding design tools updates.
• Participate to design review meetings with other engineers, functions and consulting Engineers.
• Support other engineers on topics related to generator winding design, testing specifications and customer discussions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
