Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers across the region. You will work independently, travel as needed, and respond to alarms on a 24/7 on-call basis.

The role emphasizes safety and readiness in a fast-paced telecom environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of generator maintenance experience, knowledge of relevant regulations, and basic computer skills to use maintenance software.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing components and performing upgrades.
• Conducting performance checks and maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and test operation.
• Respond promptly to alarms and be on-call 24/7 if needed.
• Follow safety practices and attend designated safety meetings.
