Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers across the region. The role suits independent, self-motivated individuals willing to travel and work in dynamic environments.

Two or more years of generator maintenance experience is preferred, with a background in electrical maintenance software/hardware. The job requires physical capability, safety adherence, and on-call availability to support 24/7 operations.

Formación

• Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred and a minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair; knowledge of electrical components; moderate computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems, and performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness, reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and test for proper operation.
• Be responsible for responding promptly to Power/Generator alarms; on-call 24/7 as necessary and respond promptly to calls and emails.
• Observe all hazards during installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switchgear, and related equipment; use safety equipment and attend safety meetings.
