Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Power Generation Quality Control Technician I - Inspector to perform inspections and functional testing on manufactured generator systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safe energization prior to shipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, NFPA 70E certification (which may be provided by PowerSecure), and the ability to read manuals and schematics. Strong documentation and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• NFPA 70E certification required (may be provided by PowerSecure if other qualifications are satisfactory).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and written instructions.
• Ability to document test results and product specifications accurately.
• Ability to work with electrical systems and generator configurations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test manufactured generator systems per quality standards.
• Record test results and component specifications accurately.
• Perform pre-start and electrical inspections as required.
• Move equipment using forklift or pallet jack, and handle panels up to 50 pounds.
• Support quality initiatives and participate in FATs and inspections.
