Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Systems Engineer to integrate Generator into existing and future electric and EREV vehicle architectures, while providing technical system support across the vehicle program to ensure robust system engineering and program execution. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand the Generator's functional and physical properties and ensure linkage to DFMEA and PFMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in system engineering or vehicle electrification.
• Experience with automotive programs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and resolve engineering issues.
• Support program launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical or related field of study.
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering, vehicle electrification or related Automotive domain.
• 1+ years of CAD.
• Masters degree in Engineering (even better).
• Prior experience in Automotive industry, working with cross functional team to develop new technology and issue resolution.
• Component test experience with bench and/or dyno.
• Vehicle systems level test experience for electro‑mechanical modules.
• Model based system engineering experience.
• Power electronics experience.
• Ability to work with suppliers for design and system engineering.
• Knowledge of eDrive Unit controls / communication system.
• PPAP experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Ability to multi‑task effectively on projects and assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
