Job summary

CMI Management LLC, based on a customer site in Beltsville, MD, is seeking a Generator Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment. You will work on generator systems ensuring reliability and uptime at a government facility.

The role requires hands-on experience with tools, adherence to safety and documentation, and the ability to pass a government background check. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must have expertise in troubleshooting and repairing generator systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace parts to maintain buildings, equipment and furnishings.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks including relocating and installing furnishings.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and furnishings.
• Determine required materials and supplies for preventive maintenance, repair orders and projects.
• Work from elevated equipment including ladders, lifts, scaffolding and platforms.
• Move and arrange heavy office furniture, equipment or supplies as needed.
• Perform other general mechanic related duties as required.
