UE Manufacturing is hiring a Generator Field Service Technician III located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. Responsible for diagnosing problems and performing complex and/or major mechanical, electrical, and power generation equipment repairs, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs at customer locations. Equipment includes power generation, Frac equipment, coil tubing units, pumping units, and other oil field equipment.

Amount of Travel Required: 60%

Responsibilities
  • Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose all problems with customer's equipment.
  • Identify and order parts necessary for repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Perform complex and/or major repairs on customer's equipment, replacing parts as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance according to guidelines and schedules.
  • Complete work orders and timesheets accurately and promptly.
  • Assist lower-level Technicians as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, with three to seven years of related experience.
  • Preferred certification as MTU CHP S5/M2.

  • Technical certification in automotive, lift truck, heavy equipment, or diesel engine repair required.
Other Requirements

Familiarity with diagnostic software such as CAT-ET, MTU Diasys, Detroit DDDL, etc., is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Physical Demands

Various physical activities including lifting, standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, pushing, climbing, crawling, squatting, bending, and visual and sensory requirements are necessary for this role.

Work Environment

Work occurs at customer sites or in a shop environment, outdoors or indoors.
