Job summary

ERock is seeking a Factory Acceptance Testing technician to oversee testing, scheduling, and yard control for newly manufactured generators. The role requires executing standardized test procedures, documenting results, and ensuring regulatory compliance. First Shift runs 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The successful candidate will perform FAT, emissions testing, and data capture, identify defects, and support cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and quality during investigations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production testing, or equipment testing preferably within generator or electrical equipment environments.
• Working knowledge of generator systems, testing procedures, or performance standards.
• Experience using testing tools, diagnostic equipment, or related software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Commitment to safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing on newly manufactured generator systems in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Execute startup, operational, load, and endurance tests per established procedures.
• Conduct emissions testing and ensure accurate data capture and documentation.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects or non-conformances.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, engine, and generator-related issues.
• Accurately recording test results and maintaining complete test records.
• Support safe, organized test yard operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support Engineering, Production, and Quality during advanced troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
