Job summary

ERock in Houston, TX seeks a Factory Acceptance Testing technician to oversee testing, scheduling, and yard control for newly manufactured generators. The role covers startup, load and endurance tests, emissions data, and defect tracking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing/testing environments
• Knowledge of generator systems and testing procedures
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and document results
• Experience with safety and quality compliance

Responsibilities

• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing on newly manufactured generator systems in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Execute startup, operational, load, and endurance tests per established procedures
• Conduct emissions testing and ensure accurate data capture and documentation
• Identify, document, and communicate defects or non-conformances
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, engine, and generator-related issues
• Accurately record test results and maintain complete test records
• Support safe, organized test yard operations
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture
• Support Engineering, Production, and Quality during advanced troubleshooting and root-cause investigations
