Job summary

ERock is seeking Factory Acceptance Testing technicians to oversee testing, scheduling, and yard control for our newly manufactured generators. The Third Shift is from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

You will perform startup, operational, load, and endurance tests; conduct emissions testing; document defects; troubleshoot systems; and maintain test records. ERock offers competitive pay, training, and comprehensive benefits while prioritizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, production testing, or equipment testing, preferably generators or electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge of generator systems, testing procedures, or performance standards.
• Experience using testing tools, diagnostic equipment, or related software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing on newly manufactured generator systems per approved procedures and work instructions.
• Execute startup, operational, load, and endurance tests according to established procedures.
• Conduct emissions testing and ensure accurate data capture and documentation.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects or non-conformances.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, engine, and generator-related issues.
• Accurately record test results and maintain complete test records.
• Support safe, organized test yard operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support Engineering, Production, and Quality during advanced troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
