Job summary

ERock seeks Factory Acceptance Testing technicians to oversee testing, scheduling, and yard control for newly manufactured generators. The Third Shift runs from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with responsibilities including executing tests and documenting results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, production testing, or equipment testing (generators/electrical).
• Working knowledge of generator systems, testing procedures, or performance standards.
• Experience using testing tools, diagnostic equipment, or related software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Commitment to safety and quality compliance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing on newly manufactured generator systems per approved procedures and instructions.
• Execute startup, operational, load, and endurance tests.
• Conduct emissions testing and ensure data capture and documentation.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects or non-conformances.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, engine, and generator issues.
• Accurately record test results and maintain test records.
• Support safe, organized test yard operations and promote safety culture.
• Assist Engineering, Production, and Quality during advanced troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
