Prime Video is seeking an Applied Scientist to own end-to-end product development, research, and experimentation in generative AI and computer vision at Amazon-scale.

You will advance state-of-the-art models for controllable synthesis across media, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver production-ready systems for global content pipelines. PhD or MS with strong ML background required.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML.
• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with generative models (diffusion, transformers).
• Hands-on experience with image/video synthesis and editing techniques.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and modern DL toolkits.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop generative models for controllable synthesis across images, video, vector graphics, and multimedia
• Innovate in advanced diffusion and flow-based methods to improve efficiency, controllability, and scalability
• Advance visual grounding, depth and 3D estimation, segmentation, and matting for integration into pre-visualization, compositing, VFX, and post-production pipelines
• Design multimodal GenAI workflows including visual-language model tooling, structured prompt orchestration, agentic pipelines
