Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Culver City is seeking an Applied Scientist to own end-to-end generative AI research for Prime Video, including CV, multimodal AI, and production-ready systems at scale.

You will develop controllable generative models for images and video, advance diffusion/flow methods, and integrate them into pre-visualization, VFX, and content personalization workflows for a global audience.

Qualifications

• PhD or master’s degree with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML.
• Experience building models for business applications.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and DL toolkits (e.g., Hugging Face).
• Experience in generative models (diffusion, flow, transformers).

Responsibilities

• Research and develop generative models for controllable synthesis across images, video, vector graphics, and multimedia
• Innovate in diffusion and flow-based methods to improve efficiency and controllability
• Advance visual grounding, depth and 3D estimation, segmentation, and matting for VFX pipelines
• Design multimodal GenAI workflows including visual-language model tooling and orchestration
