Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Lead Applied Scientist to drive state-of-the-art Generative AI for Prime Video. You will own end-to-end product, user experience, and technology, delivering scalable, production-ready models at Amazon scale.

You will lead research on controllable generative models, diffusion methods, and multimodal GenAI workflows across images, video, and graphics, collaborating with diverse teams to push the boundaries of entertainment tech.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building ML models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s +6 years of applied research experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and ML.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and develop generative models for controllable synthesis across images, video, vector graphics and multimedia.
• Innovate in diffusion and flow-based methods to improve efficiency, controllability, and scalability.
• Advance visual grounding, depth and 3D estimation, segmentation, and matting for VFX pipelines.
• Design multimodal GenAI workflows including visual-language tooling and orchestrated pipelines.
