Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Applied Scientist for Prime Video in Generative AI to advance state-of-the-art models for video understanding and generation. You will own research, experimentation, and productionization of diffusion and diffusion-like models at scale, spanning vision, multimedia, and generative AI.

You will work on end-to-end pipelines from research to deployment, collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact innovations for Prime Video customers and creators.

Qualifications

• PhD or a Master’s degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• 3+ years of building models for business application experience

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of the product, related research and experimentation
• Apply advanced ML techniques in Computer Vision, multimedia understanding and Generative AI
• Develop diffusion and flow-based models and productionize them at scale
• Design multimodal GenAI workflows including visual-language model tooling and orchestration
