Western Alliance Bank is seeking an AI Analyst (Generative AI) to serve as the operational backbone of its AI Governance function within the AI and Automation team. You will coordinate governance activities, maintain policy documents, and deliver executive-ready reports on progress and controls across the bank.

This role emphasizes clear communication, meticulous documentation, and the ability to drive governance improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of governance or risk management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Experience driving programs with KPIs/KRIs and executive reporting.
• Experience authoring policies, standards and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.
• Detail-oriented with strong control documentation discipline.
• Experience with executive committees and governance interactions.
• Familiarity with GRC and AI governance frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance activities and stakeholder support.
• Maintain and improve AI policy, standards, and procedures.
• Track program progress with KPIs and KRIs; produce narratives.
• Prepare monthly status reports and dashboards.
• Organize governance content in SharePoint and Confluence.
• Support internal audits, regulatory reviews.
• Facilitate AI governance working groups.
• Document decisions and issues, drive closure.
