Job summary

Western Alliance Bank seeks an experienced Principal Analyst I (Generative AI) to drive the AI governance program. You will coordinate governance activities, maintain policy documents, and track progress with KPIs for executive readouts while partnering with business and tech teams across the bank.

You will work with AI Council members and control owners to ensure controls are accurate and enforceable, and you will prepare materials for committees and senior leadership while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience documenting and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures.
• Experience running projects or programs using standard methodologies, with progress tracking through KPIs/KRIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive presence.
• Attention to detail in governance, control documentation, and version control.
• Exposure to executive committees and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance activities and support stakeholder care and alignment of the AI governance framework.
• Document, maintain, and version AI policy, standards, and procedures across the bank.
• Maintain governance records: meeting notes, decisions, issues, action logs, controls, metrics.
• Develop monthly status reports and KPI/KRI dashboards for AI Council and executives.
• Analyze governance metrics and control performance, producing clear visuals.
