Job summary

Guardian Life is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program, a paid 10-week learning experience embedded in a global financial services company. You will work on Generative AI applications, engage with senior leaders, and network with peers across offices in a real business setting.

You are a current junior or sophomore with collaboration, quick decision-making, and a goal-oriented mindset, eligible in locations including NY. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and common libraries/frameworks (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Strong interest in AI concepts (LLMs, agents, MCPs, AI skills, context engineering).
• Excellent problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Passion for learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Be a self-starter who rolls up sleeves, is energetic, works independently and creatively.
• Participate in design, development, and deployment of Generative AI applications and digital assistants.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Research NLP, ML, and LLM advancements to inform project work.
• Learn Guardian’s values, products, and services while building a professional network.
