Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to advance enterprise AI initiatives remotely under a 6-month contract.

You will work with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate AI concepts into production-ready solutions, focusing on prompt engineering, RAG, and scalable data workflows.

This hands-on role requires strong Python skills, cloud experience with Azure and AWS, and a proactive approach to staying current with AI technology.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software, data science, or AI engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI apps or ML solutions.
• Experience with LLMs, prompts, and AI APIs.
• Proficient in Python or similar languages.
• Familiar with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar data platforms.
• Understanding REST APIs and cloud-native app development.
• Strong problem-solving in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Generative AI solutions on modern AI platforms and cloud tech.
• Build and optimize prompts, AI workflows, and RAG applications.
• Integrate AI with enterprise data platforms including Snowflake and cloud services.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement scalable AI solutions.
• Develop APIs, pipelines, and automation for AI-powered apps.
• Create proofs-of-concept and assist production deployment of AI features.
• Test and optimize AI models for performance and reliability.
• Work with data teams to prep and integrate data for AI use.
• Document solutions and contribute to AI development standards.
• Stay current with AI tech and suggest improvements.
