Job description

Principal Technical Recruiter @ Focus Cloud USA | Azure Cloud, Software Engineering & Cybersecurity | Microsoft Certified

We are seeking an experienced Generative AI Developer to design, develop, and deploy AI products tailored for the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building AI solutions in this domain, with a solid understanding of industry challenges, data, and workflows. While a background in Microsoft technologies is preferred, it is not essential.

Location: 100% remote - CST business hours.

Duration: 6 months - with view to extend

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models and applications for oil and gas use cases.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and domain experts, to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
3. Build, fine-tune, and implement large language models (LLMs), computer vision systems, or other generative AI tools to address industry-specific challenges.
4. Integrate AI products with existing technology stacks and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred, but AWS or Google Cloud acceptable).
5. Ensure models are scalable, robust, and meet performance, accuracy, and security standards.
6. Stay up to date with the latest AI research, tools, and technologies, and apply them creatively to business problems.

Essential Qualifications

1. Proven experience developing AI/ML or generative AI products specifically for the oil and gas industry (e.g., upstream, midstream, downstream operations, exploration, production optimization, asset management, etc.).
2. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, etc.
3. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
4. Familiarity with MLOps practices and deploying AI models into production environments.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
