Job summary

MarLabs, a global AI and Digital Solutions Consulting firm, seeks a Lead AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI solutions that power intelligent decision-making and outcomes.

You will lead production AI systems, including RAG, model serving, governance, and security, collaborating with data, platform, product, and security teams to deliver reliable, explainable, and compliant AI that creates measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building and deploying production AI/NLP/LLM/RAG solutions.
• Strong Python skills and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs: model serving, embeddings, prompts, retrieval pipelines.
• Experience with AI governance, guardrails, PII protection, security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise AI solutions (RAG, semantic retrieval, orchestration).
• Develop and maintain AI model serving infrastructure and embeddings services.
• Build AI evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, groundedness, and reliability.
• Implement AI governance, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with data engineering to integrate governed data sources and semantic layers.
• Collaborate with product, platform, security, and business stakeholders to define AI capabilities.
