Reach Velocity - Emerging Technology ?? ?? is seeking an AI Engineer to build practical software for an established business. You will join a small team, work with internal users, and deliver AI-powered tools through production with hands-on ownership.

Responsibilities include connecting language models to business systems, Python development, tool-use, and multi-step task orchestration. Onsite role in Houston with opportunities to shape applications used daily.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software, data or AI engineering.
• Strong Python, with the ability to write clean, modular and maintainable code.
• Practical experience building with LLMs, including prompting and tool use.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker and modern application development.
• Confidence working with non-technical colleagues and understanding their needs.
• We’re interested in what you’ve built, the decisions you made and how you improved it. Relevant personal projects are welcome alongside professional experience.
