Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications addressing Generative AI needs across the enterprise. This contract-to-hire role requires hands-on work with Python, LangChain, LangGraph, LLMs, and cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock or Azure AI Foundry.

You will implement agent-based applications, RAG workflows, and containerized AI solutions in Kubernetes or OpenShift while aligning with AI standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered apps using LangChain/LangGraph.
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI tech.
• Familiarity with MCP tools/integrations.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or similar platforms.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Python and modern AI development frameworks
• Build Generative AI solutions leveraging LangChain, LangGraph, and enterprise AI platforms
• Develop agent-based applications and workflows utilizing Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools and integrations
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications via AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or similar platforms
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows and integrate vector databases as needed
• Create and deploy containerized AI applications within Kubernetes and OpenShift environments
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions
• Implement testing, monitoring, and observability practices to ensure reliable AI application performance
• Optimize AI applications for scalability, security, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to AI development standards, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices
• Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve solution delivery
• Support production deployments and ongoing enhancements of AI-driven business applications

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python development skills
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent frameworks
• Experience developing applications utilizing LLMs and Generative AI technologies
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, integrations, or application development
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or similar enterprise AI platforms
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native development
• Experience working within Agile software development teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• Experience building multi-agent AI systems (preferred)
• Experience implementing RAG architectures and vector database solutions (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI observability platforms such as Arize, LangSmith, Langfuse, or Datadog (preferred)
• Experience deploying or hosting open-source LLMs using vLLM or similar inference frameworks (preferred)
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and AI application evaluation methodologies (preferred)
• Experience building enterprise-scale AI applications in regulated industries (preferred)
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
