Xcel Energy is seeking a Development Portfolio Manager for New Generation Projects. You will lead creation and advancement of generation project portfolios for large load customers, including renewables, storage, and thermal technologies, aligning with planning and regulatory objectives.

You will manage technical due diligence, coordinate cross-functional teams, support contracts, and ensure smooth handover to execution.

Formación

• BS degree in engineering, finance, or a related business field.
• 10+ years of power or heavy industrial construction and diversified project management experience.
• Experience developing or managing large or multiple construction projects at least $50M in aggregate value.
• Ability to travel as required to manage responsibilities across the fleet is required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the coordination of technical tasks during feasibility and development phases of generation projects within CPD and Major Projects Group.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary, matrixed project teams to develop project scope, estimates, schedules, and risk analyses.
• Provide support for contract negotiations and alignment with CPD, Major Projects Group, and Regulatory teams.
• Ensure proper handover to execution phase with clear deliverables and documented handoffs.
