Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated competencies in applicable discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principals, theories and practices.
• Ability to apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve broadly-defined engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support on Power Generation-related compliance, maintenance, operations, protection schemes, and control system modifications.
• Advising on maintenance strategies, testing requirements, and documentation to demonstrate compliance.
• Serving as SME for generation protection schemes, panel designs, standards, and related requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate improper operations and equipment failures.
• Identifying issues affecting Electric Transmission and Power Generation and supporting mitigation development.
• Supporting CIP compliance and transient cyber asset documentation.
• Delivering technical consultation to field personnel and engineering teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending maintenance program improvements.
• Supporting workforce planning during transition to renewable generation.
