Job summary

Chart Industries in Canton, GA is seeking a manufacturing professional to engrave tanks, inspect components using blueprints or BOMs, and complete thorough documentation for every task. You will follow strict safety and quality procedures and work to ISO standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

The role may require overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design sketches.
• Safety-conscious and adheres to procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

What Will You Do?

• Engrave tanks and complete documentation on all work, electronic or paper
• Perform inspection of tank using blueprints, design sketches or BOMs to ensure work performed per specifications
• Complete required documentation, electronic or paper, on all work performed
• Understand and adhere to established safety and quality procedures
• IATF training and understanding required
• Maintain a clean work area and practice general housekeeping standards
• Perform all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

• 1+ years manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail essential
• Proven ability to identify, problem and escalat (when appropriate) minor non-conformities and deviations
• Safety minded individual
• Must be able to develop thorough knowledge of company products
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours, as needed by business
• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Experience reading blueprints and design sketches, highly desirable
• Knowledge of ISO procedures helpful
