Soliant Health is actively seeking an ultrasound sonographer for a 13-week contract in Rhode Island. The role requires performing general ultrasound studies, collaborating with radiologists, and maintaining patient safety and comfort on a fast-paced acute care unit.

Night shifts run 8:00 pm–8:00 am on a rotating 4-week schedule with specific off-days. ARDMS and BLS credentials are required, with strong communication and organizational skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credential required.
• Strong experience performing general ultrasound procedures independently.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic general ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and conduct imaging with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Document and communicate findings clearly in the electronic medical record system.
• Provide compassionate care, education, and support to diverse patient populations.
• Uphold infection control and patient privacy standards at all times.
