Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a night-shift assignment in Manchester, NH. This 13-week contract requires RDMS certification, a current NH ultrasound license, and BLS. Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.

You will perform ultrasound examinations on pediatric and geriatric patients, assist with procedures such as thoras, paras, FNAs, and biopsy preparations, and document findings in Allscripts EMR. Health benefits and retirement options are available.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various ultrasound procedures and be committed to providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams on both pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Assist with procedures including thoras, paras, FNAs, and biopsy preparations.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to departmental policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document patient information and imaging results in the EMR system (Allscripts).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a current New Hampshire ultrasound license.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
• At least one year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
• Experience with Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 ultrasound systems.
