Job summary

Qualifications

• English communication ability.
• ARDMS credentialing within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN by ARDMS within one year of hire.
• BLS certification provided and maintained.
• All certifications/registrations kept current.

Responsibilities

• Set up ultrasound equipment and prepare patient for examination.
• Select the proper transducer type and frequency.
• Review patient history to facilitate diagnosis.
• Position patient and ensure comfort during exam.
• Assist physician with ultrasound procedures/needles biopsies.
• Maintain radiology records and label images.
