Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/ Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements include Oregon Sonographer license, ARDMS certification within 6 months, and current BLS. This on-site, night-shift role offers a competitive salary and an $8,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Licensure as an Oregon Sonographer required at hire.
ARDMS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Proven diagnostic ultrasound experience and licensing/certification per state rules.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders.
Operate and maintain various ultrasound equipment.
Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
Adjust imaging techniques based on patient needs and clinical conditions.
Provide patient-focused care while considering age-specific and special needs.
Follow departmental procedures, clinical standards, and safety requirements.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and support quality and patient safety initiatives.
