Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for General Surgery 3W to provide direct patient care and coordinate multidisciplinary services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold an RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
