Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is hiring a Physician Assistant - General Surgery to support acute care surgery at Emory St. Joseph and Emory Decatur hospitals.

The role includes rounding on the service, assisting surgeons in the OR (open, laparoscopic, robotic), and evaluating new consults and admissions with limited clinic time. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month; compensatory time off or pay will be offered for

Qualifications

• PA with general surgery experience preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Team player with commitment to quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on the acute care surgery service.
• Assist surgeons in the operating room (open, laparoscopic, robotic).
• See new consults and admissions; limited clinic duties.
