Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Physician Assistant - General Surgery to support the acute care surgery service at Emory St. Joseph and Emory Decatur hospitals.

The role includes rounding on the acute care service, assisting surgeons in open, laparoscopic, and robotic cases, and evaluating new consults and admissions; clinics are limited. This is a full-time on-site position with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• PA with general surgery experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience with EPIC EMR desirable.
• Team player with commitment to patient-centered care.

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group, (TSPMG) Kaiser Permanente is happy to announce an opening for Physician Assistant - General Surgery.

• This position will mainly assist with the Kaiser acute care general surgery service at Emory St. Joseph hospital and Emory Decatur hospital.
• This includes rounding on the acute care surgery service, assisting with surgeons in the operating room (open, laparoscopic, robotic), seeing new consults and admissions.
• The hours are from 8 am to 5pm Monday through Friday. With one weekend covered a month. Compensatory time off or pay will be offered for the weekend covered.
• Limited clinic responsibilities.
• Preferences: PA with experience in general surgery preferred, but willing to train the right candidate, experience with EPIC EMR, team player, willingness to learn and committed to quality patient centered-care
